At 18 years of age Pythagoras, flight from the tyranny of Polykrates to the nature philosophers Anaximandros and Thales in Milet. Later he set out for Egypt. Here, Pythagoras spent 22 years studying the science of the stars, geometry and initiation into the mysteries of the gods.
IImprisonment and abduction to Babylon by Kambyses warriors. Magicians instructed him in the study of worship of gods. In the science of numbers, in music and other sciences he achieved the zenith of his life's work.
Pythagoras return to Samos after 12 years.
530 BC exiled by Polykrates to Kroton (Italy).
Founding of an aristocratic- religious sect with the aim of ethical and political reform.
Pythagoras died 480 BC in Mentapont on the Gulf of Tarent.
